This is the far end of the Port Phillip bay; therefore you can see Melbourne city scape from here. Clean beach, and some nice restaurants. Great place to have a stroll and I noticed some are fishing on the jetty. Feels like a town that's not too rural and not too busy.

It's a clear nice beach without much overcrowding. 2P parking applies within the carpark. Toilets and wash area are well maintained.its just a quick stroll from the pier.

Best place to visit and spend time during summer season. My one
year daughter enjoyed the fullest. Multiple car parking spot available with and without fee, restaurant of multiple choices available and shopping Center nearby with lot of options for shopping lovers.

Frankston Beach is a fantastic place for swimming, sunbathing, walking the dogs, volleyball, surfing and other sports, photography (especially of the sunset, sea plants and seabirds), school picnics and other activities. Crowded even on a weekday. Besides the sand and water, there are a cafe, a playground, chairs, broad walk (no cycling), trails, public toilets and amenities.
The water is clear, clean but icy. The winds are also cold on a hot summer day.
Remember to visit the pier and bridge nearby.
Sunscreen is a must. Insect repellent is also recommended.

Beautiful pier, lovely spot for a stroll or jog along the walk ??'? trail. Cafe close by, amenities available. If you have children there is a playground for them, great place for dog walks - must be on a leash!
Overall, lovely spot to visit. 🙂
